Hardware

Hardware includes all manner of computers: desktops, laptops, servers, tablets, smart phones and more. It also includes peripherals, like printers, routers, switches, storage devices, and Wi-Fi equipment. Managing hardware can be a complicated, labor-intensive, time-consuming process, even for a small business—especially if the process isn’t well organized.

All Net Connect can help.

We’re trouble shooters, of course. Sometimes hardware problems can be fixed remotely. Quickly, as well. Often in as little as a few minutes. And remember, we’re local and we’re a team. We can work onsite. In emergencies, we’re here 24/7.

Even more important, as your IT department we’ll work proactively to prevent problems and reduce downtime. Our remote monitoring and management software (RMM) helps you manage the entire lifecycle of all your hardware, from procurement to replacement. That includes installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and planned replacements

Our hardware services

Inventory and Assessment: Proactive hardware management begins with knowing exactly what you have and where it is. Inventories include makes and models, serial numbers, purchase dates, and warranties, Assessment includes creating maintenance schedules, estimating equipment life expectancies, and budgeting for all of it—maintenance, repairs and replacements. And it’s important to store that data in a secure location.

Procurement and Vendor Management: Even well-maintained machines don’t last forever. That’s especially important to remember for mission-critical equipment like data storage devices. Our cloud-based remote monitoring and management software (RMM) can help manage warranties. All Net Connect can even help you find the equipment you need.

Installation and Configuration: This includes pre-installation planning. Onsite, All Net techs make sure your new hardware is configured to run efficiently with the rest of your network. This includes cabling, connection with peripherals, testing startup, and post-installation remote monitoring. And, of course, we’ll add data from the new equipment to your inventory.

Remote Monitoring and Management: All Net Connect uses “remote monitoring and management (RMM)” that automatically checks a range of parameters like temperature, CPU usage, processor speed and others.  RMM tools report problems as they happen, in real time, spotting small problems before they become big ones. They can also help manage hardware life cycles.

Hardware and Firmware Upgrades: As your IT department, All Net Connect can schedule and perform routine maintenance and updates for all kinds of hardware—including routers, printers, smart phones, and (of course) computers. Firmware, sometimes called “software for hardware” is code embedded in hardware to help perform basic tasks, like starting up hardware, instructing it how to communicate with networks and how to perform other basic tasks.

Onsite Support: Sometimes hardware support requires hands-on attention—for installations, obviously, but also for tasks like data migration or diagnosis and repair of complex problems. As we often emphasize, All Net Connect is local to the Black Hills region.  Whether it’s equipment installation, routine maintenance or emergency response, we can be there. We assign IT professionals to each client, so they will know your system. And we’re a team, so we can respond 24/7 to emergencies.
