All Net Connect’s Managed IT Service

“Managed IT Service” and “Managed Service Providers” (MSPs) emerged in the 1990s as information technology grew in complexity. MSPs replaced the old break-fix model of IT service with a new model based on prevention. MSPs emphasize remote, automated monitoring, maintenance and cybersecurity. That way, they can act quickly to stop problems or minimize damage.

MSPs also save organizations because they can serve many clients. Customers, get access to advanced IT technology without making massive capital investments. MSPs can offer a help desk. They also typically require contracts—usually a monthly fee at a set price for a set period of time.

All Net Connect uses the same remote tools, but with important differences. First, we’re local. When remote techniques aren’t enough, we’ll come to you. Second, instead of a remote help desk, our clients get an IT professional  tech assigned to their organization. You’ll  have someone to call or text. And all our techs are backed up by the All Net team—available 24/7.

And finally, we don’t require contracts. Our clients pay only for the services they actually use.

Managed IT for hardware and software

In the Managed IT model, remote monitoring, real-time alerts and automated repairs for hardware can save time and money and  prevent big problems.

Updates: Out-of-date software affects performance and security. All Net can remotely monitor individual workstations to make sure updates are installed.

Performance: This is a measure of hardware and software efficiency. It includes real-time monitoring of parameters like CPU usage, memory consumption, disk space, disk input/output speed, and response times to network requests. We all monitor response times for key software applications.

Health: These  parameters indicate the condition and stability of  hardware. We remotely monitor, in real time, servers, work stations, hard drives and other devices. We track processor temperature, fan speed, and other parameters. Our system sends alerts and often fixes problems automatically, without downtime.

Security: Remote threat detection and automatic defenses can prevent cybercrime  disasters. Security programs, like antivirus software, can be updated automatically.

Managed IT for networks and data

Automated network monitoring can spot problems in equipment like firewalls, routers, switches, cables and Wi-Fi.  All Net Connect’s brand of Managed IT Service keeps network health with real-time monitoring and support both remotely and onsite.

Network traffic: The flow of data through your network, the “traffic,” comes from many sources—web browsing, file sharing, emails, and more. Monitoring can detect unusual changes in the amount of traffic or sketchy sources of data such as unknown IP addresses.

Network connections: Problems can include interrupted Internet service, loose cables, poor WIFI connections, router malfunctions or even a loose plug. Remote monitoring can detect problems even before you notice them.

Data backups: Human beings routinely forget to backup data. Automated backups and monitoring reduce backup failures to near zero.

Data recovery: When you need to restore data, All Net Connect can help you do it remotely, reducing downtime.
