IT Customer Service Tech

Job Description:

As an IT Customer Service Tech for our customers you will perform all tasks required to help design, install and maintain information technology systems for a variety of small and medium sized businesses. Our IT Customer Service Techs wear many different hats and have an entrepreneurial spirit looking for opportunities that benefit the customers, their team and our company. Our techs are mobile, working on site or remotely as required. We do not have an office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshooting computer, network and printer problems
  • Installing and maintaining software
  • Assessing business problems and helping customers solve those problems associated with their computers
  • Installing and maintaining networks, printers and workstations
  • Helping and training end users remotely and on site
  • Managing network security and data backup
  • Thoroughly documenting work and systems for customers


  • Must have excellent people and communication skills and a keen interest in Information Technology for businesses
  • Experience in customer service, especially on site with business customers
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting
  • Dependable vehicle (fuel efficient recommended) and valid SD driver's license
  • South Dakota Gaming support license which requires a background check (to be acquired before the end of first 30-day evaluation)
  • Smart phone capable of connecting to our online Exchange server
  • Laptop capable of installing Microsoft Office 2016 and knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel. Minimum of Windows 7, Windows 10 preferred. Must be capable of installing our core applications for filling out time and remote service
  • Residence in Rapid City or adjacent suburban community
